Actually, I want to stay here. There is no where else that is anywhere near this cheap, especially since I found out how cheap the electric is. I really do not think the office people are stealing my mail, but someone definitely is. I need to figure a way to nicely bring it up without being accusatory. I do not want to risk getting evicted and have to go back to renting rooms again.

It is a month to month apartment with no lease. They can evict me for any reason immediately. I was told that when I moved in.

I then asked for the mailbox key and they told me they do not have mailboxes. They told me all mail goes to the office and I have to pick it up there each day. I told them I have never heard of an arrangement like that, and I do not like it one bit. I am paranoid, but my paranoia is now becoming realty. I am now convinced someone is stealing my mail.

Here goes:

1. 3 years ago a roommate in a house I was staying at stole my social security card. I have never replaced it until now. The apartments MADE me go and get another one. The social security office gave a paper saying my card will be arriving within a week in which I showed the apartment office to move in. That was on the 7th of this month. My social security card is now missing in action. This is downright dangerous!

2. I have noticed I have not gotten any of my bills here. In fact, I have not received even one piece of mail. I called both Cox and Nevada Energy on Friday to find out both bills were mailed out, Cox being on the 11th and is overdue. I have also not been receiving my paycheck stubs from work.

Now, the address here is very easy and I have double checked everything I have used it for. It is correct on all so that is not the problem. I have NEVER had this problem in any other apartments I have lived in. I have changed my bank, credit card, Nevada Energy and Cox to paperless billing so I am ok there, but still am I supposed to live somewhere where I cannot receive mail??? I am going to have to confront them in the office, but I do not know how to go about it? Tact is not one of my strong points, and I do not want to get kicked out of here since I cannot afford any other apartments. These apartments are literally the cheapest in the whole Las Vegas metro.

help
what aprtment complex is that? id be a little concerned to

I am not going to post my address on a public forum. I will say I pay $350 a month for a small studio. That includes everything, even full cable and basic telephone service. They are by far the cheapest apartments in Vegas.
