I wish I could turn my ac off. Unfortunately, there are homeless people walking by my front door all day and night. I would feel very uncomfortable opening the door or window.

What about a personal fan? They are super cheap these days. Get one that oscillates. It will feel cool without having to run the expensive a/c. Fans cost pennies an hour, a/c costs dollars an hour.
Consider cracking the window at least, put a fan in front of the window and blow the cool air in. Very refreshing.

Get some window locks. So you can open the window a little and lock it into place so nobody can just climb on in. I doubt the people walking by want to barge in unannounced anyway.

You have the good, the bad and the bewildered.
...And the bad one really hates me!

Yeah, I was there last week. Hadn't heard about the new location and was just driving down Sahara and decided to stop in for a bite to eat. It's nice not having to drive all the way to Paradise or Downtown to get my tapas and sangria fix from now on.

On a related note, I don't think it is technically in Spring Valley since Sahara is the official northern boundary and Firefly is on the north side of the street.

Heyla, gang!

I just wanted to poke my head in here. The doctor approved me for surgery today, which will be scheduled by Monday. I'll be in UMC Hospital for a month at least, and will welcome any visitors. I'll have my sister post something on my Facebook page. He said that it's a major surgery, and there is a chance that I might die. After everything that I've been thru, I'm willing to take the risk. BIL is been better in the last couple days, but we'll see how long that will last. It was pretty bad a few days ago. I miss you all, and I pray that you're all doing well. Please keep me in your prayers, I can use all of the help that I can get!

We are all pulling for you. I somehow got mixed up and I thought you were already in the hospital.
