You know what they mean. 73 percent affluent white, 25 percent affluent Asian and 2 percent "minority" isn't diverse.

Port Washington is actually diverse, with a sizable working class Hispanic population and some low income housing thrown in there.

I walk 3 minutes to my Carle place station and let me tell you. A short walk to train station rocks. I never have to drive. In cold or hot weather, it does not matter. 3 min.
That means the whole miserable trip to the chambers of the City a bit more bearable. That is when LIRR works well, which it often doesn't.
