A friend of mine and his wife (not from LI) caught it from their college age daughter when she visited. I'm talking about a family in a private home.

It's constantly weird to me that people actually think state governors applying strict covid rules are in some way pleased about it. Disagreeing is one thing; conjecturing they make these rules for fun is ludicrous. People do this in my current state also.

It's more of a power-trip. Such as "look what I can do." Yet when the rules are inconvenient they simply don't obey their own rules or deem their functions "essential."

Deaths dropped because the weather warmed and people were outside.

Now deaths are rising as the weather cools and people are inside.

It's amazing this simple observation is too complex for you.

Why don't you consider a move to beautiful North Dakota? They're a bunch of contrarians and freethinkers who thought Covid-19 was a nothingburger. Now they're #1 in cases per capita and #8 in deaths per capita. And that's despite having less than 11 people per square mile.

I believe that we need to be more careful than we have been, but I strongly believe that a lockdown is not the correct route to go.

Keeping the above in mind. I would love just one person to have say 15 people at their house with Cuomo getting wind of it and then see what he would do. I would love to see him get his butt handed to him because he overstepped the law.

Except deaths aren't rising.

Look at the #'s. Sure death rates are going up, but so are cases. But the death rate to cases is as low as any flu. Is this TOO COMPLEX for you?

As the cases rise again the death rates have plunged. Unfortunately Ny was the example and no one knew how to fight this correctly and many more died than what you see in other states. Live and learn.

And of course it didn’t help that Cuomo placed Covid positive people in nursing homes killing 1,000’s!!

And why do you guys think that deaths have not occurred at the same rate? Did the virus morph weaker? If not, what's the flu have to do with it? Should we take the same precautions as the flu, as in virtually none?
