I remember that too. They took him to court. Not sure what the outcome was.

But whoever repairs the potholes has a good racket. Use cheap crap to do the repairs and keep on getting called to repair and repair the repair rather than do it right. They don't make money doing the paving, they make the money from doing repairs.

Instead of complaining about potholes why don’t you report them so they get fixed?

No wonder they're not getting fixed on the LIE. If you go to the link above and select Suffolk County link, they have as a choice (and I am not kidding) I495N, I495S and to make things even better, NY27N and NY27S

I'll submit one for the LIE and say it needs to be repaired from exit 33 through 73 on all lanes in both directions

If these potholes really are THAT dangerous, I think the solution is obvious.

Wrap some cash around a matchbook and throw it at them!

Won't work. They'll just pocket the cash and leave without fixing the potholes.

I guess there are no potholes on any of those choices since the do not even exist.

You’re right, it’s much better to complain about potholes on this board than to report ones that can actually damage your vehicle.

You think people who hit potholes don't report them? They are. It's just that it's SOOO bad that they can't keep up. It's gotta be repaved.
