Certainly possible. As I said before the GOP likely won’t force him out because of the vote situation, but he can certainly quit on his own if he can’t handle the public/media pressure and wait out the news cycle. So his congressional “career” is literally over before it begins.

The local Nassau GOP already said he won’t be supported in 24’ no shock there.

He'll resign by the end of January but put on his resume that he was a U.S. Congressman for 10 terms.

Nope it’s 5 years to vest, and even then the pension is very small unless you do like 20 years or 10 terms
