The only problem with your statement is that the owners won't be seeing any envy from beachgoers unless they happen to be next door, because that is a private beach. I think the glass wall serves as a wall to keep pets and little kids from going off the mini cliff bluff.

L.A really has the worst air, the worst gangs and some of the most over-done, absurd houses SoCal has to offer. Check out that Pasedena hotel sized house....how could anyone live in such a thing. It would be embarrasing to say that you live in a 35,000 sqft house.

You explained your reasoning well BENZBOY15. I spent enough of my past working hours in the residences of wealthy (LA/Orange County/Santa Barbara County) celebrities/business moguls to become very jaded about affluence and influence. Regardless, there's no denying the beauty of expansive, landscaped lawns and striking architecture, especially when so many of us live in tiny domiciles with postage stamp size yards. I thought you might have been a 'Robb Report' groupie. It's good to hear you're not. I apologize for my annoying cynicism. From my past years in LA I saw what a magazine culture LA (more so than most other locales) was, and lately I've taken up the bad habit of characterizing Angelinos by what magazines they buy and read. Those who buy the Robb Report fascinate me no less than the people who buy 'In Style'.
