I'm sorry, I just had to say that! The snow levels are falling low enough for L.A. County to see snow in the foothills of the mountains, in the Antelope Valley, etc. Having lived here all of my life, I'd love to see it snow just once here in the San Fernando Valley! Of course, this probably happens once every fifty or hundred years. I know it would mess up the roads and everything, but wouldn't it be fun to have a snow day here??

I'm with you!

Here in the Bay Area, the snow is supposed to be down to near the 1000' level but I really haven't seen it yet because of the low overcast. But I would love for it to reach the levels where most of us live.

I grew up in the Northeast and Midwest and have missed the special feeling of opening curtains in the morning to see a fresh white snowfall ever since I left.

I'm perfectly happy knowing that I can drive to the snow in an hour or two and not have to worry about the stuff down here in the city! I can't even the havok if it did snow a decent amount in some freak storm. Our infrastructure is not setup to handle anything more than a bit of rain. Does anyone remember the hail storm that hit south central 5 or so years ago that clogged the gutters and flooded people's homes and cars? No thank you!

Hit the Grapevine Sunday when it was being hit with snow. People don't understand how to drive in it. Dunno if I want it or not.

Its cold enough today to snow. I was all happy to go on my morning run this morning. Charged the Ipod, got dressed, put on a beanie then ran about 20 feet from my front door and turned right around and came home. Brrrrrrrrr. I hate the cold.

I live in Oxnard and can see the Topa Topa mountain range and the other mountains around Ojai and love how it looks today. Yesterday was so clear and the view was amazing. If you are ever in the Oxnard area you have that view. Camarillo and Ventura kind of miss it because they both have a hillside as part of the city that for the most part hinders the view of the snow capped mountains, mountains to us anyway, at 4,200 feet level. Looks to have snow down to the 2000 feet level from my point of view anyway. But then the lower hills of Ventura block any remaining view of the snow line. That in itself is an amazing view, the higher ranges covered in snow and the lower ranges with the greenery and hillside homes. Both Oxnard and Port hueneme have this amazing view of the snow capped mountains north of the Ventura, Santa Paula, and Fillmore area.

Come on DaBeez, suck it up. It's not that cold out there. I did 4.5 miles this morning and 5 miles yeterday, actually yesterday was alot colder. I did miss Monday morning because it was both cold and raining.

I can't imagine the mess here if it did snow or got cold enough to have ice on the roads. If people can't drive in the rain what would they do in the snow or ice? Hopefully stay home.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow....
