Not good...but if the majority are not having symptoms like people i see posting on instagram then hmmm

Two friends just lost their dads to covid today (one in Texas, one in Mass). Both men were in their early 60s.

I have another friend who is 28 years old who is on day 32 of covid and while she seems to be out of the woods, she is still too fatigued to work and posted today on social media that she's only fully awake for about 3 hours a day.

I can't say that the majority of people I know with covid are "not having symptoms."

Mass might get 400k doses by the end of the year. Doesn't say which one, I am guessing Moderna's. That sounds like plenty for health care workers in GBA and a good chunk of nursing home residents and staff.

With more widespread testing, of course more will come up as asymptomatic than in the spring. What you need to look are the hospitalizations, those numbers generally don't lie.

these are the folks who are suffering most:

I've said before it's the staff...if I had a loved one in a nursing home (and thankfully I dont) I'd take them home with me.

Positivity is down as well.

I wonder how many of these new cases are asymptomatic cases being caught due to the huge influx of testing by people who want to feel better about seeing Grandma Beatrice this Thanksgiving.

53 deaths reported is unspeakably sad. However, positive rate definitely looks or be rolling over.
