It's not just "different opinions," it's an inability to think critically and you don't seem to be able to tell the difference. And this isn't something like sports, it's literally a deadly illness. So my respect for your opinion ends when your respect for other people's well being ends because you don't like being told to wear masks.
Dr fauci himself said those masks at the drugstore dont work. but you will do mental gymnastics to justify anything that fits your narrative.

there is no proof either way that masks work or dont. did you ever think there is a small chance masks do nothing to stop the spread of this virus? could it even be a 1 percent possability?

Yep although I would recommend sticking to experienced and not the kiddos. That will increase your costs.

I do not know how to best compare things in a way that is 1:1, because obviously there are differences. And thus I am not taking a position on the mask issue, but around my area now, I can safely say mask wearing is under 50%, if I had to guess. It's been that way ever since the reversal of opinion by CDC/Fauci, absolutely nobody was wearing one before. The death rates have been flat for about a month now. So from how I see it, it's possible that they helped keep it that way, but at the same time, only about 50% compliance (or slightly less) has also not resulted in any type of spike, and we have also reopened quite a bit in the mean time already.

Im enjoying the work from home. I commuted for years. I’m surprised by all the people saying they miss the office. They just have very easy commutes or hate being in the house.

Ya I am not sure either way. I would be interested though if it is ever found out that they do make a lot of difference , a little difference, or none at all. the problem is experts do disagree.

you can see 5 different doctors with the same ailment and they might have 5 different opinions.

I know someone that had symptom after symptom and the hospital did not know what was going on. the person then went to another hospital and it was discovered they had parkinsons.

Just got an email from our YMCA that all daycamps are open for Phase 2. Camps start 6/22, so if we enter Phase 2 before then, camps will start on time. I only have my kids there for a couple of weeks in August, so hoping the other camps we are signed up for do the same.

I have an easy commute (work in the 'burbs) and wish I could go back to the office 1 - 2 days/week. I miss seeing my coworkers in person. But if I only had to go in the office 1 - 2 days week, I could theoretically move even farther south (maybe Duxbury) without having a long commute. If my husband didn't have to commute into the city, it opens up some options.

I know I am due for one. My barber might not even recognize me.

Yes, I almost enjoy the commute, takes about 5 minutes to drive to the train station...25 mins by commuter rail and 10 minutes walking. That said working from home 1-2 days a week would be nice too. Options are always good.
