It didn't leak until a couple years after we bought.

260k above list (and almost 900k more than they paid in 2019) for this place in Wayland. They say it was recently renovated but still.

Seems pretty garish. Still not a fan of having a pool here unless it's heated.
It's not my favorite, but seems like a nice home for a well-off snowbird. I'm thinking with the open living room space that would only really be usable May-October... not to mention the outdoor chess board would be a hit with the grands.

It feels a bit "California" to me, but I wouldn't hate living somewhere like that. The open shelving in the kitchen is the worst part to me!

kind of surprised this one had a price drop. Maybe seller just really wants to sell, but that's a good sized home with a lot of privacy. Maybe the pond in the back is a concern...I'd love it.

A cut like that usually means they've gotten no action at all.

Right which is surprising because then there are homes like this in the same town:

Open house Friday, offer by Monday on a house that I personally though was overpriced. Funny how real estate works.

It has oil. Which can be very problematic.

Note the proximity of the high voltage power lines in the aerial shot....that might be a turn off.

Mostly one level...sprawling ranch with large level backyard ....vs other one that had swampy, mosquito haven for a backyard. Also, this one looks like maybe someone who's pretty good at decorating really put in some effort which is probably selling the place quick w/multiple offers too!

Yes the pictures are very good and I love the style. I've been to quite a few open homes and pics can be deceiving, plus people take the furniture and much of the decor with them when they go. The backyard is not large, so again good pics I guess. It is pretty private though.

I personally would be able to deal with the mosquitoes for a few months. Whoever buys that house will never have to worry about anyone building around them.
