Lived in Miami 20 yrs ago when crime rate was verifiably higher- certainly Liberty City and Overtown were ghetto, but not West Miami or Westchester- those are as close to middle middle class as Miami got. Little Havana not great not terrible.

Basic rule- Spanish speaking areas are working/middle class
English speaking areas are either very rich or very poor.

This is actually pretty accurate. Although there are some wealthier Cubans in Coral Gables and Brickell. I would say as a whole Cubans tend to be better off than other Hispanic groups.

So engrish speaking Hispanics in my area are most likely poor? I'm Black and I speak English....and little Spanish, but I don't feel poor.
