The land owner of about 200 acres wants create a 400 lot subdivision of single family manufactured homes on University Boulevard north of the Moffet Rd intersection. I was excited until I paid attention to the manufactured home part. We need housing but I don’t think putting manufactured homes in the city is it
I'm optimistic, modern manufactured homes are better than the past. If done right it could definitely be a plus for the city by bringing in more affordable homes. It's definitely better than a mobile home park! Seems like residents are more concerned about infrastructure than the type of home or possible people it could bring.

Do you guys know who the builder of the new subdivision that is being built on Schillinger near 3 notch?

They’re that Daphne based company, they are building 3 subdivisions. That one off schillinger, one off of old Pascagoula near Theodore Dawes rd and I forgot the other
