I definitely think that’s what that area needs. There’s a ton of surface parking around the mall that isn’t used. And we don’t need more random outparcel developments

Right, I don't understand why both properties haven't thought about adding apartment complexes.

Chart Industries will be bringing in another manufacturing facility to the port city, this one will be at the very end of the Theodore Industrial Canal, a $73 million investment that will create 59 jobs!

Between this , Airbus and Austal. That's about 2-3k good paying jobs. What is the city/county have planned to attract that growth on this side of the bay.

A little more information from a mystery redone and sub from a few weeks back

It’s a rezone of 2 lots just northwest of Downtown off of MLK (google maps says the neighborhood is Owens, it’s a rezone of R2 to R3 in hopes of building 2 quadplexes
