Here's a 25-story apartment tower that's up for review with the Metro Planning Commission. It'll cover an entire city block where Noshville Deli is now located on Broadway. Noshville will relocate somewhere else temporarily and then will take up place in this new building if the MPC approves the plans.

I doubt that alone will lead to a noticeable increase.

Along 3rd Street it will. People are already using that like a mini-freeway to get to Germantown and downtown.

I've always used 3rd Ave. It's much easier.

Novare Group, an Atlanta developer, paid $11.85 million to buy land on Broadway in Midtown Nashville, with plans to build a 25-story apartment tower called Skyhouse. This is the tower that's going where Sub Stop used to be until a couple of weeks ago.

Boyle Investment's massive Capitol View development should start construction sometime this year. Located in the space between the state capitol and I-40/65, this first phase will include 375 apartments, a 10-story office building, a grocery store, over 2,000 parking places in two parking garages, a hotel, and several thousand square feet of additional retail space. Boyle will be investing over $200 million in this project.

This project is adjacent to HCA's new 500,000 square foot office building it's constructing to house 2,000 employees.

When all is said and done, this Capitol View development will include over 1,000 apartments, a one acre park, and will tie in with Nashville's bikeway/greenway network.

Boyle has already hired a general contractor, civil engineers, and a general landscaping firm to get this project rolling.

More information including project renderings and a map of the location:

It was announced today that UBS is actually bringing 350 new jobs (not 250) to Williamson County. With this lease, One Franklin Park is now 100 percent leased.

In addition, the 1,000 new jobs that UBS said in 2013 that it is bringing to its UBS Tower in downtown Nashville has been upped to 1,600 new jobs.
