Hate to break it to you but the federal government, which doesn't exist without your tax money, has institution waste and often hires contractors who did not provide the lowest bid or given to contractors without biddding. Are you not suspicious when Pallone charges that the state did not choose the lowest bidder? Think he is ethical? You give a contract to redo your kitchen to the lowest bidder without regard to any other criteria? If not you can't approve of Pallone's statement which involved your tax money.

Think it strange and not dripping with political revenge that the DOJ assigned a prominent US attorney within 24 hrs of CC's speech while other pressing national issues wait in the que. Be suspicious if you are not of this blatant purely political move by the Obama administration in preparation of a run by Hillary.
Then ask yourself if the mob mentality to hang CC deserves a sober look.

There are claims of emails linking obama and holder to fast and furious, benghazi, the IRS supressing votes and the Air force 1 and F-16 fighter jet un announced flyover NYC. Hillary to whitewater and Vince Foster's death. The head of the ways and mneans committe which is in chagre of the US tax code was charged with tax evation as was the head of the treaury. Time to get holy about the feds corruption and waste if CC is seen as a problem.
Yuk

You republicans are so contemptuous and so quick to muddy the waters.

Big difference between murky legal issues and the mob running NJ for private profiteering....which is what this is sounding like......

Default More money funneled to political insiders...

...by our esteemed governor's administration:
Christie's Biggest Sandy Contractor Fired - WNYC

Yes, the sweetheart contract has been terminated, but this is essentially a case of locking the barn door after the horse (or, in this case, the money) has escaped.

As I stated previously, it is becoming more and more difficult by the day to view Chris Christie as anything other than corrupt.

I guess he figured that he knew enough about corruption that he could get away with it.

It's sick that some people seem happy about any of this. Is Democrat vs Republican really that worth it? It's just an affiliation. There are dirty people on both (all, really, because they're not the only affiliations) sides. The issue I see is unequal representation of that in the media, and that isn't always the case - only usually.

Example: de Blasio is accused of holding back plows to the Upper East Side for a full day and it makes the news, but no one's publicly crucifying him other than the immediate residents. It's merely a question: did this happen? Can we prove this happened, and who did it, and why? There's no proof he did it, just like there's still no proof Christie was directly involved, but no one's even bothering to look into it in de Blasio's case. This has baffled me since yesterday. The questions raised are as legitimate as Bridgegate IMO.

I've seen many people say that de Blasio is waging a class war and that he's angry at the wealthy who didn't vote for him and that's why they believe he did this on purpose. Either way, the city's response to that snowstorm was awful - I'd know, I'm in Staten Island every day and Tuesday was hell. They were somehow not at all prepared and de Blasio SHOULD be under fire for that at the least.

The worst thing that I can hear as a tax payer is "bipartisanship". That pretty much means both parties have found a way to rip us all off and agree to the terms. Thanks
