I'm asking because I applied for a lottery on the Housing Connect website. After applying, the log number is still blank.
They will run the lottery and then post your number. It will be there eventually.

Hey Mk10456,

Have you had any luck with lotteries? I just got my lowest log number #77 no preference.. Does this automatically mean I have a big chance of been called? There are 34 apartments available for watermark LiC.

Also, I entered my income wrong on one of the older lotteries, which is still on, "Tenant Selection in Progress." My log number is only 9xx. I was wondering, based on your experience, maybe I may get a letter that I'm rejected and I can then take the time to make the corrections and get a chance?
You can absolutely get it corrected. Don't panic just know that you can ask for a review and they will grant it then make sure you have all the paperwork you need or required. I'm a bit late but I hope all worked out or will work out if it hasn't yet.

It all depends on the management however go in for the interview , they may make an exception even if its unlikely based on other things using their own discretion so font give up. Go in , be pleasant and make a good impression and hope for the best and make sure you call every other day so you can set yourself apart from others whom may be lazy or not as vigilant nor persistent.

Hi all, can anyone answer wat they do with last years w2? I worked half the year last year so my income will be low for majority of the income requirement however my last 6 paystubs will show that I meet the requirements. Will I be ok? Also, what type of background checks do they do? Credit? Criminal? Employment? Thank you.

You should be okay. How was 2015's income? They will tally up and get the highest number from your stubs.

The verifications are: bank, employment, IRS, credit, old job if you left less than a year ago, landlord

Ok thanks, I actually don't have a 2015 W2. 2016 was my first and I will have my 6 recent stubs ready so they will tally up from those if I get called? Also, Im working thru a temp agency, will that be an issue as it is not considered a permanent job placement.
