Those who have "high" log numbers, need not worry. This building was my lowest log number yet at #368 and I have seemingly been completely skipped over, unless they are going over the preferences first.

They are required to do the preferences first. Disabilities, then community board/homeless, then city workers, then general log.

Looks like they are still going through preferences going a few pages back.
605 West 42nd Street said they will have an answer for my appeal by the end of February. If they deny, that's fine. By the time I get reached out to this (if I ever do) those few months of deposits from the casino will have fallen off of the 6 month bank statement requirement which is good news.
Going through this process at least one time has been a great learning experience.
This looks like the next best unit versus 605.
Good luck to everyone. I would love to hear more success stories from the members here.
What you are saying sounds great but that wasn't my personal experience when I went to see apartments at 250 Ashland. They showed me two apartments which were both on low floors and they were both the same layout.
Have you moved in? Can you give us timeline from your interview appt to lease signing?
I just received a request for documentation for first interview. Log number was 51,XXX so I assume they had a lot of people not qualify. Can someone tell me how the Log Numbers work now that I have been randomly selected and asked for an interview? With such a high number do I still have no shot? Please advise?

Do you live in Brooklyn Community Board 2? Are you disabled? Are you a NYC municipal employee? If yes to any of those, then you're being contacted because of your preference. If not, then I have no idea- that's a really high log number to be contacted without a preference.

CB2 Preference. Indicated mobility disability on original application, but do not believe that was considered as the application did not require me to submit disability set aside documentation. Wondering if possible to be selected with 51XXX log number.
Also, if circumstances have changed since application (number of occupants increase/decrease etc.) how is that handled? Are you held to the application information?

Well, you definitely have a shot with a 51,000 log number if you have a community board or mobility disability preference. That is why they are calling you. You would eventually have to prove your eligibility for the community board preference or mobility disability preference with certain documentation that they will explain to you.
Household size can only be changed where there is a marriage, divorce, birth, death, etc.
I have my interview this week. I had a high log number, but CB pref. Any tips for the interview?
