Do you really think being proactive and pestering would have gotten you in? If so I might need to do some pestering and see if I can get myself off the waitlist....Lol

I think they were taking longer earlier because there were many issues with final touches on various units.

When I viewed an apartment on Thursday they said they are looking to lease up as soon as possible once you're approved, and they gave me contact info regarding how to speed things up once I have approval.

You really need to talk to management about this. There are many NYC rules and regulations regarding this and pros and cons. If you guys break up, he can stay and you can't have him leave. He doens' even have to pay rent.

I'm just glad its a smoke free building. And everyone had to sign it! If I even smell cigerettes or marijuana in the hallways...I'm probably going to get everyone involved to get the person out.

Congrats to ppl who are get into the building!
