Also, anyone know what the parking situation might be in this building? I don’t have a car but I work in Gravesend/Coney in Brooklyn so a parking space would be ideal.

Anyone know if a parent and adult child (both live in same home; one is homeowner) could qualify to move in together for a studio or 1br, provided the combined income is within the range. Im guessing a 2br is certainly allowed. I understand owning a home is allowed, but primary residence of both parent and adult child would have to be changed to the ML coop.

the ML ads always say occupancy standards of studio is 1-2 persons, but doesnt specify what relationship the two people must have (im assuming they must at least live together)

When they ask for income, do you put in your gross income on pay stub or 1040 row 1 w2 wages or row 8b AGI?

I also got a log# for townhouse, and am not quite sure what it means or how literally to take the "townhouse" part. I'm guessing, wherever in the building these are situated, that they are one-bedrooms, since they only list studios, townhouses, and two-bedrooms, and a one-person household qualifies to apply to them?

Does anyone know how long the waiting time can get up to for this coop once the lottery is over?

I've driven around the area - parking is really tight. Hard to find a spot on weekends and especially on weekdays. Usually see people camping out for them once they do street cleaning

No idea

I'm still trying to find floorplans! Here they are for Village View, which is another Mitchell Lama: https://dlc.library.columbia.edu/nyre/cul:4b8gtht8n8

Hello! I've "met" some of you on the Penn South 2019 thread. I just got a letter from Village East for a studio unit, #15. I'm also on the Penn South list for a one bedroom. I wish there's more information on the web regarding what it's like living at Village East. That one Yelp review was not super helpful. I found a Village East Towers Facebook page but there isn't much useful information either. Hopefully when some of us start to get called to see an apartment, we'll all share what the process is like and how the facilities look on the inside. On the Penn South thread so many people have been so generous with sharing information, which I'm very grateful for.

Hmm, guess I didn't get into this one, no mail from them so far (and not coming today either). Rats.

Man! Amazing how many people here got into Penn South and Village East. Is there some charm or spell?
