Or maybe view it and reject and hopefully when they offer him another one, he will have the money by then.
Hi

what size list is your relative on and what number range?

Village East is opening up its wait list again! This time for different size apartments, one and three bedrooms, starting March 3. (Links don't work yet.)

A friend of mine lived there. The building is old and in need of renovation. Hopefully that will happen.

At least the MLs have access to low-interest loans.

I am really interested in the one.
I am thinking the 3bd rm if selected. Would this be a longer wait than a 1 bd rm?
Also the price ranges from 52k to 59k so it's pretty decent. total cost with lawyers fee around 75k-80k? Maybe?
Does ML coops fixes up the apt when they sell? Kind of important because fixing up old apt can be a huge cost.

MLs traditionally will fix up the coops when the previous tenants vacate and before the new tenants come in, but they are by no means doing really nice renovations. They are just putting the apartments in habitable order and making sure they're clean.
Oh I see. thanks for the info.

Not that I know of! If there is, I'm screwed, and so are thousands of other nearby residents.
