[quote=Ashanti720;56333632]So i went to the interview today , it was super crowded .. I managed to get some pictures but overall the interior isn’t really my fav. But the interviewer that I spoke to who else was interviewing and collecting documents from 3 other people said that it wasn’t no rooms available for what I qualify for so they will have to put me on the waiting list ☹️. But I did speak to the receptionist downstairs in the lobby and she told me that a lot of people have been rejecting the apartments because of the location and also how it looks so hopefully someone does reach out to me and let me know the options if not I’ll keep trying 😇

Yeah keep trying. I’m pretty sure you’ll get something 10x better than this. The interior really throws me off too. They haven’t emailed or called me back yet so I assume it’s just a waiting game at this point.

Thanks for the update and even including pictures too! I’m sure you have mentioned it before in a different post but if you wouldn’t mind stating which bracket/bedroom occupancy you were aiming for just to have an idea which options have waiting lists. I know you said 80% but is that for a studio, 1 bedroom, etc? Thanks again and good luck.

Congratulations on getting an interview! If you don't mind me asking....how did the interview go, also how did contact you via email or with a letter via regular mail?

Penn South is a wonderful place. However, it is absurd that it so difficult to get an affordable apartment in NYC. There was a time when people were afraid to go out of their houses in Chelsea or in NYC for that matter.

Agreed. But that's life. Things can't stay affordable forever, unfortunately.

Uh... don't get an attitude about something you're wrong about, lol.

We're talking about the now deleted, first 2019 thread. Not the 2014 one.

Smh, people always want to give lip even when they're ill-informed.

Don't get on your high horse with me Missy (or little Mister Gentleman), that *2014* thread starting at page 92 contains all posts from 2019.

In fact the last post was *yours*, dated 3 October:

"I found you! I was wondering who it was who got in from his parents' app.

Did they need to speak to your father? Or was the notarized letter enough?"

Explanation could be mods took pity on rest of us and combined the two which has been known to happen.
