Yes, I got in on my own. I had to present a death certificate for my mother who had passed away and a notarized letter from my father relinquishing his right to the apartment.

Did they need to speak to your father? Or was the notarized letter enough?
So i went to the interview today , it was super crowded .. I managed to get some pictures but overall the interior isn’t really my fav. But the interviewer that I spoke to who else was interviewing and collecting documents from 3 other people said that it wasn’t no rooms available for what I qualify for so they will have to put me on the waiting list ☹️. But I did speak to the receptionist downstairs in the lobby and she told me that a lot of people have been rejecting the apartments because of the location and also how it looks so hopefully someone does reach out to me and let me know the options if not I’ll keep trying 😇.

This is good news! I grew up in Hells Kitchen so I dont mind the location at all. I just wish the management company had better communication skills as I have yet to hear any of this until you shared it. Which bracket do you qualify for?

80% which one did you qualify for ? And what are you looking for ? It was people moving in as well so I would just keep calling them and asking and if not start reaching out to HPD cause it’s no excuse to why they haven’t reached back out.
