In most cases, the buildings aren’t usually complete when the log numbers are posted. This is one of the reasons why the process of interviews and getting back to people who are likely to be approved, takes so long. My mom won a lottery back in 2009 and was approved in March of that year for her apt, but she wasn’t cleared to move in until that summer. Same thing happened to someone I know about 2 years ago.

Good luck! I’m praying that I get in.

The status changed to "Tenant Selection in Progress", so they should be posting the log numbers very soon.

Yeah, I just checked and it says “Tenant Selection in Progress”. Do any of you know how long it’ll take until the log numbers will be released at this stage? Really hoping to get a low log number.

I applied at midnight the time it opened and my log number is 74,xxx and my Aunt applied almost a month later and her log number is 4xx. I believe the log numbers are fixed. This is really upsetting.

The log number you get is the LOTTERY aspect of this whole system. When you apply DOES NOT matter because applications are randomized and then given a RANDOM LOG NUMBER.

It’s a lottery not a first come first served system.

No problem.

Here’s the marketing handbook. It’s pretty much everything you need to know about these lotteries.

FYI I also applied to this lottery close to the deadline and got a 74xxx log number.
When you apply has no bearing whatsoever.
