Wait until you get an email from Housing Connect 2.0 asking you to submit your documents through the portal & if you do get the email, the status of your lottery should be 'Action Required'.

Hey Everyone I recently looked on my dashboard and noticed for this building it says Pending. When I clicked this lottery it says as of 6/29/21 my application was received and is pending review. Also below this message it say's show required documentation only thing is I didn't get a request from the marketing agent yet to upload it. Hoping & praying they contact me soon to start the process. Does any one have any updates?
I looked in my housing connect dashboard today and saw I was deemed ineligible for 222 Johnson (my income is over by $500). But I am on unemployment which will end September 6th.
And because of the way the income form is set up on the website, it does not allow me to show that my weekly unemployment benefit will not last until the end of the year. So it looks like I will be earning more money than I will actually be earning.
I have not received a rejection email, and I have no contact information to appeal their decision. Can anyone share the email address and appeal instructions? Thanks!

Hi there - I'm sorry to hear this - were you contacted to submit documents and the agent deemed you ineligible?
Or was it that your income was listed wrong on your dashboard and they automatically marked your application ineligible? If this is the case, you probably aren't able to appeal :-/ - I may be wrong. This had happen plenty of time to a friend of mine. She had her income wrong listed on her application and as soon as log numbers were generated her status changed to ineligible.

It was the latter. So I guess I’m just ineligible to appeal. This is so frustrating. I’m a performer and freelancer and so my income is never steady and constantly fluctuates. There’s absolutely no way I can appeal that decision? I’d love at least the chance to, this is so unfair.
