The HPD took about 4 days to process the final approval and thats it.
Looks like some apartments are occupied already. They started moving in May1.
Congrats!! I hope you're happy with your apartment and the building! Did they offer you apt options? Hope you have a smooth move in!

Thanks.
They assign you an apartment. You just go and view it. I am not sure if you get to pick. The one we were assigned to was amazing. So we just set a date to sign the lease.

The whole process was about 1.5 months. The final review by the city was like 4 days.

Unfortunately the only way to know is when they contact you. From what I am seeing/hearing from people who have been contacted, they contact CB (and potential tenants with other preferences) first, and then start with NYC population. You get contacted at the email address that you provided with a notification to submit documents. It is hard to tell where you stand prior to that because no log numbers are listed on the new Housing Connect.

Hi gang, got the request from Housing Connect, but wondering if I will also receive an email from the marketing agent so I can see my log #. Or do you need to upload all your docs first before you get it?

Knowing if your log is 10 or 10,000 really plays a big part in deciding to submit docs! Especially if you're in a higher AMI and not getting as sweet of a deal on rent.

Congrats to those who have been called and/or processing. The lack of transparency in the new site is so frustrating. The no log numbers is ridiculous .
