I did not see any indication on the Lottery Flyer but, is there a Veteran's Preference, considering the history of Stuytown?
The only one noted is NYC residency.
There is no preference for veterans. Actually, I have never seen a veterans preference for the lottery developments. The Mitchell Lamas usually have it, though.
Instead of a preference, veterans get a nice memorial plaza in Stuy Town:

I have a log number. The concern I have is all the negative reviews about this development.
I would suggest, if you have a low log number, say, under 1,000, come over and check the place out. It’s spring, and the trees and flowers are blooming. Come into the Oval and set yourself down in an Adirondack chair or sit on a bench, or maybe get yourself a coffee or a sandwich from 5 Stuy Cafe. See how you like the vibe. If you have any questions, let me know. I will answer honestly. I’ve been here 29 years and raised a daughter here. She loved growing up here, but her lottery number is very high! Luckily she is on the list for Penn South.
As I see it, as in all real estate questions, the answer will boil down to, Does Stuy Town offer you a better housing situation than you currently have?

Hi , I looked at my log number its 7** and when I looked at my application I realized I put my income without overtime I did because of COVID
Well, that’s a great log number. I think you will be okay, whatever you put down, because income range is vast for this lottery. Let’s see what happens when they call you.
You should always put your normal income without overtime as it's not consistent every year.
It's true you could put down your income without overtime, but if the overtime shows up on the paystubs that are submitted, it will count.
