No problem!

I submitted all my docs using the HC portal. I went to their location to get some docs notarized before sending my file off to HPD for final approval.

I assume you drop off docs - then they will review (can take a couple days to some weeks) and then they will call you to confirm eligibility and schedule a viewing.

Can someone who’s been on a tour explain the process afterwards? How long did it take and were you offered a lease?

Hi there - were you called and deem eligible? If so, your file will be sent to compliance department for approval before your file gets sent out to HPD for final approval and lease signing. Where you looking for a studio, 1 bd or 2 bd? Some applicants were offered a tour then later were notified they weren’t eligible. If you were called and informed you’re eligible to proceed- about two weeks after that agent will reach out with the units available within your income brackets for you to pick from and for you to sign the TIC with a unit # on it.

Im currently waiting on HPD approval before I’m offered a lease. I was inform HPD approval takes about 3-5 days. I hope this helps and good luck

Thank you so much for responding! I apologize if I explain this poorly:
In sending my documentation to the project manager she had me fill out esign forms for HPD approval, that included a rental application. The cover letter of the storms stated that their office has found me eligible and to have meet all criteria mandated by the program and HPD. By submitting I was then called for a tour that I went on yesterday! I was shown the unit and was told that the next step is letting the project manager know I’m interested. I guess I just want to know, what my chances are in getting a lease agreement for my dream apartment!

Looks like we're both waiting on HPD approval! Yay!
98% of the time, HPD will approve applicants. If approved, you can be signing a lease soon for Jan 1st.
Your chances are pretty great at this point!
