For those curious about the timeline, they reached out to the first batch of applicants today. My log # is under 25, but I will not be going forward.

Thanks for the heads up! Curious what number this batch goes up to.

May I ask your reasons for not proceeding?

I only qualify for the 1 studio and while the odds are good, it's almost $400 more than my current lottery apartment (and smaller).

Thanks for the update! I’m really hoping there’s still 1BR’s left by the time they get to the 1000’s

Wow log numbers that low do exist..
Can I ask, do you remember when you applied? Right away when the lottery was posted or sometime later?

I'm also thinking about bailing out. Don't really like the layouts and the rent is high.

Waiting for people to view apartments and update us

rnt2dh, I applied March 6 (I don't remember when it opened), but it truly is random. I could have been the first person to apply and still gotten a log # in the thousands. I just happen to have extremely good luck with housing lotteries. Just wish the deals were a little better, but I really shouldn't complain.

I'm shocked how fast this lottery is going. I got the email for documents yesterday and popped over to this forum to see the log #s were just announced days ago.

Anyway, I wish everyone who really wants this all of my good luck!
