Is that a good thing? Construction for the units on 112th or construction for Phase II?

I saw construction workers there on Saturday, so I think they're really trying to speed up the process and get some folks in by hopefully end of summer!
I really hope so y’all! I’ll make another visit either this week or early next week and give my thoughts. Anyone know how to attach pictures?

Did my lil visit, and not much has changed. I’ve come to the realization that I think the physical units are all done….however the retail section and the area for Union Settlement (112th from Madison to Park) Avenue still have construction. It doesn’t seem to be major, but I’ve seen loose duct work not yet installed and man lifts inside the ground floors. I mentioned major sewage pipe being on the street a couple months prior, and that’s all gone but they have excavated the entire 111th to 112th street Madison Avenue side in front the Metro North. That being said, I’m gonna link some pictures. My faith is waning. I did see an article about how covid has shifted processing back 357ish or so days. I’m gonna give it til the end of summer, bc that’s my personal housing deadline which means I’ll lose CB for this location & the new spot on 125th. *sighs* Get it togetherrrr HDC!

Thanks for the pics and update celia! This one will take a while unfortunately. my only hope is that the lottery for phase 2 goes up by the time they start contacting people. I saw some old listings 111th St on streeteasy posted by C+C Management but I’m not sure if they are still dealing with Sendero

@Celia Thank you for posting those photos! Don't lose faith. But I have more faith in the building on 125th lol. That building is ready and tenants (market rate) already started moving in. End of summer is my housing deadline too! This has been such a loooong process. I feel confident though, that with CB preference we should hear something by end of August.

Thank you really and truly <3. It’s exhausting bc as little as people think of E Harlem, I’m from here! I love it here. Literally bought 3 corns for like $1 from a street vendor and went home and made elote. Sendero has included Wi-Fi for all, is rent stabilized, is a nontoxic furnished apartment with amenities available to every tenant bc it’s 100% lottery. No market rate classism stuff. It’s ideal for the extension of the 96th Street Q, and the Metro North and the 6. But they’re taking foreverrrrr. I truly do hope we hear something bc I’m running out of time on the “I’m saving up” excuse.
