What did it say on the TIC form you signed before submitting to HPD?
I wasn't asked to sign one. I called the office today and a woman just told me I was in the second batch waiting for approval from HPD. I'm so confused by their process.

Oh got you LOL yes I'm a little confused too but hey maybe it's more efficient in the end!
You also have to remember that only 50% is set aside for CB preference. If that 50% is full, they'll most likely start looking at people in Gen pop or move on to the next set of preferences.
Hey everyone! I just got off the phone with Reside and hopefully this will provide a bit of insight for those who are also confused.
The person I spoke with said I am in batch 4 (log 6XXX, CB). Once the project manager goes through the entire batch (which could contain 50, 60, 80, 100 people, depends on the PM), they then send it off to HPD for approval, and move onto the next batch.
They didn't say what batch they are on, nor what dictates who gets chosen for which batch, but based off the more recent posts (someone indicated they were told they're in batch 2 and their app is pending HPD approval) I think they're currently reviewing batch 3. I could be wrong though.
Also, I asked about my specific log, but because they aren't currently reviewing my application they couldn't tell me if I needed anything additional.
It's wild that they aren't transparent with this batch system and only tell this to people who ask (and not everyone has the same level of knowledge; I have called several times and this is the first time someone mentioned a "batch").

Thanks for the insight! Do you know the name of who you spoke to? They didn't want to tell me in what batch I was in when I called. I think it depends on who you speak to who gives better info or not. It would definitely be helpful if they were more transparent / it doesn't make any sense to not be but at least you know a little more now.
Also - I wanted to know if anyone here has won a housing lottery before and if so were you able to add someone to your lease after moving in? What was process? I guess it depends on the building management but curious. Thanks!

I completely agree, it depends on who speak with over the phone. That's frustrating they people don't know/they won't tell you!
I believe their name was either Mirabel, Anabelle, or Marybell... I didn't write it down unfortunately. They were incredibly friendly and seemed like they wanted to help me! There is another person i talked to before who I remember being far more curt and brusk.

Exactly... Yes that's definitely who I had the brusk one LOL
I might call tomorrow to see maybe I'll have more luck

I spoke to a Maryann and she was the one who told me I was in the 2nd batch however I spoke to someone else after and couldn't hear her name and she stated that they are reviewing my documents but not from HPD. Maybe I am in the second batch to be sent for HPD approval I'm not sure anymore.
It does not make sense why they requested to send documents for a lot of applicants.
