So I received an email on Wednesday asking if I would like to go to a unit viewing on Friday at a designated time. I replied yes and went today. I was only shown one unit by the super although I am eligible for 3. There were people that came before and after me so I guess everyone was assigned a specific time. After the viewing, I emailed the person who reached out to me on Wednesday about liking the unit but haven’t heard back but I hope I do and I hope that I get it. The person who reached out to me about the viewing was a different person than my eligibility specialist, who I did the interview with.
I did ask the super about when they think people will begin moving into the building as a whole and they said hopefully in 2 weeks.
Do you all think viewing it is a good sign? It was a 1 bedroom.
That's great news!!! The big question is does your apartment have a view of the river? You will def get something!
It is very human to want fast action. And certainly if a person is in need. But, we should consider that a long wait can have an advantage. As times passes it is an opportunity for applicants with lower log#s to quit the process, when this happens a higher log# gets nearer to prevailing. Stick with it if you can.
Good luck and good patience.
I so appreciate this positive tidbit, I never thought of that in all my " I am not being called and every number I get is not good " lol you just made me feel like my wait is worth it in the long run thank you .
Hi Jay4126, may I ask what AMI you are in? I am trying to figure out where I land in all of this. I have called the number a few times but no answer. Thank you!

My log for 2## changed to pending earlier today I hope this is a sign
Typically, when it turns to pending, it usually means no more “units are available”
