Here's a couple of photos of the building taken this weekend from my window...can see a lot of boxes through the windows so they are probably putting appliances in, and as you can see the pool deck still has no pool.
Believe me, I'm VERY tempted!!! But, I don't know if I wanna splurge $2800+/mo for a 1BR plus god knows how much their amenities fee will be, I bet it will be at least a solid $3K/mo
In where I live now, though I live in an alcove studio but it's a good 600 sqft out there with all the amenities that luxurious buildings have to offer & I only get to pay less than $2300 (amenities & electricity included), not to mention the location is very prime, close to my work, I don't need to spend $127/mo for unlimited MTA pass anymore. Last but not least, the building management is very professional who cares a lot about their tenants' well-being. I don't know if I wanna give up this 'luxurious life' in Manhattan for Brooklyn

i signed up for "updates" on the lottery site 2 days ago and i got a call at 8:55am this morning as well. she (whoever she was) asked me what size unit i was looking for, how many people would be living there, and if i had an ideal move date or was flexible. i mentioned june 1, and she said right now they're trending late summer/early fall move in so...we'll see if that remains true. i've never been "pre-screened" before, very funny.

right??? like what was the point of that. also i feel like if you're new to this process it gives you a false sense of security in getting a unit when that is not at all guaranteed. the building isn't even on housing connect yet! feels a bit against the rules but i don't think it is. just a weird move. i'm sure they have nefarious reasons for it. good times great times.
This lottery will be for 130% AMI only & they will have 57 studios; 44 1BRs; 18 2BRs; & 1 3BR to offer.
