We've seen this one before:

1 Bed, 1 Bath

281 Avenue C, Apt 0TH

Available Now

$3,530

On the ground floor, facing the inside of the complex and the Avenue C Loop road. This one has the platinum finish but a closed kitchen, which I think would be really nice, in my opinion, because the open kitchen limits how you can arrange your furniture in the living room.

The postings have slowed down now that we've hit the holiday season.

Maybe so! I hope this isn't the end of these listings!

Have you moved in yet?

I'll be moving into the apartment at the end of the month. The apartment looks great and I'm looking forward to moving in. Unfortunately Brookfield won't back down from demanding their hefty lease break fee.

Has anyone run into any issues from Stuy management by using a moving company that can't provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) for their move-in? The best price I got from a moving company doesn't provide a COI.

One-bedroom, one-bath:

440 East 20th Street, Apt. 7D

$3,322.70

Available Dec. 23

Minimum income required: $113,921.06

Modern finish

I don't know if it's a mistake or not, but it's 4:43 in the afternoon. I'm not sure if this is late for today or early for tomorrow!

Very nice location on 20th Street on the seventh floor. Even though 20th Street is a main drag, it's not too noisy.

Has the text for apartment availability changed? Didn't it used to say available apartments are posted from 7 - 10 am?

Wow, you're smart to think of that. I'm not seeing the 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. wording anymore. We'll have to wait and see if that wording pops up again after three people apply for this apartment.

Edited to add: It still says 7 a.m. and 10 a.m.

Maybe they realized it was kind of unfair or that some people are gaming the system or something so they decided to shake it up!! Also that's very quick- available dec 23!

I’m just glad to see another apartment. I was thinking this lottery was over.

I wanted to wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season! I couldn't be happier in my new apartment at PCV and I really hope that more come online for everyone to get the same opportunity - it's made a huge difference in our quality of life, not to mention being able to keep a few shekels in my pocket which is rare in this city! My daughter has already made some new friends at the playground and our neighbors on our floor are truly amazing - it makes it feel like a real community, which is just icing on the cake. Best wishes to all! Now I will need to change my handle to "PCVMama" lol
