Sorry, I had my phone on airplane mode by mistake and missed everything today! The two-bedroom two-bath must be in PCV.

Does anyone think that $3,495 for a large 1 BR in that location, with included gas + electric un metered, plus the additional A/C fee plus a laundry room that charges like $5 for a wash or dry is expensive?
My place is half the size but newer with better services in the building and it's much less. Would you switch?

I gave up a "better" apartment many years ago to move to ST, which was $500 a month cheaper, which was a lot of money back then. And I still miss having a doorman and a dishwasher. (You would have a dishwasher.)

Apartment 9G in 400 First Avenue will be directly on First, a major thoroughfare that can get noisy with ambulances and fire trucks, etc. Other than that, it's a very convenient location.

Would you be giving up a doorman or an attended lobby? Would you be giving up an in-unit washer/dryer?

Are you currently feeling cramped in your apartment and want more space?

Is your current apartment rent stabilized? How much are you currently paying?

Would you be moving from outside Manhattan? Does Stuy Town's location make sense for you if you need to commute?

Will you need parking?

Is this the apartment from yesterday?

It’s a really nice apartment at a decent price.

It was just posted this morning. I missed yesterday's post, but I was wondering if maybe they accidentally posted it yesterday and quickly took it down. Seems unlikely that they would post two 2br/2ba at this price on consecutive days.

It looked like the one from yesterday, but not 100% sure. I agree, it is a really nice apartment for those who have that income & household.

I agree. The two-bedrooms in PCV have shown up only rarely in this lottery, so it’s likely it’s the same one.
