Wow! Terrific price! I bet this one went fast. Also, the location is great. This building is set back from 14th Street but is super convenient to the Target and Trader Joe's. Best of luck to those who managed to apply!

445 East 14th is directly on the street, but the D line faces the interior of the complex. It will overlook the adult fitness playground, which is very quiet, and the high floor means that the apartment will get good light. Best of luck to all!
Forgive me if this is an idiotic question, but what's the initial process for applying for these apartments? Do you register an account whenever there's an apt on the site that you want to try for? I don't see any way of doing so when there are 0 available. I just don't want to get caught up if I check this week and happen to see another great value like there were today.
Here's all you need to know. Click on and read all the links on the top right. If any apartments are available, they will be posted between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. on weekdays. The bargain apartments will be posted for only about one minute, based on past experience. After three people apply, that apartment listing is taken down. Your goal is to be No. 1. You have to be persistent, lucky and fast. Best of luck!
This "junior" apartment is a regular, old-school two-bedroom unit with the living room closed off to create another sleeping area, as you can see in the 3D tour. It is a great location but overlooks the basketball courts:
