Everyone please watch your surroundings there are sick people out here, if your waiting for a train use common sense it will arrive when it gets there no need to stand close to the edge. I hope they find this lady
I am not in NYC at the moment and went on the news to see what was going on back there and am shocked and appalled that yet another incident occurred. You really cannot let your guard down on the subway and it's platforms. This sucks but it may mean the difference between making it home and becoming a victim.
Citing several witnesses, police told reporters that the suspect was seen mumbling and talking to herself before sitting down on a wooden bench by herself.
Authorities said the woman then waited until the last possible second before approaching the victim from behind and pushing him onto the elevated tracks.
What irritates me is how cowardly the witnesses were. They saw this woman push this man onto the tracks and not one person when after that murderer? I hope anyone who saw the woman and did nothing about is lives in shame for the rest of their lives. What is wrong with these cowards!?
This is a horrible event. But to make myself feel better, I remember that it's still far safer to travel by subway in NYC than to travel by car or even be on foot as a pedestrian. When those kamikaze taxi drivers pass by, I believe there's a bigger chance of being hit by one than of being pushed into the subway tracks.
In the past year, 176 pedestrians and cyclists were killed in NYC.
On the other hand, if any of those pedestrians were pushed into the street by crazy people and killed that way, the event would be much more sinister and scary than a regular traffic accident, no matter how aggressively the driver behaves.

they get therapy for everything they
get to see on any given day.
I think within the NYPD a request for therapy or someone to talk to after a shocking incident is seen as a weakness by other co-workers.
