Chipotle within New York limits gets jacked up around $1.50 or so. Every else their stuff is cheaper; even the Chipotle chain on the Las Vegas strip is cheaper. Of course, I haven't eaten there since the whole E-coli news came out. And there are multiple other places I can also get good Mexican food.

Curious to see how their overall business has been in the past month since the E-coli news came out at those different locations; there were also several locations that shut down temporarily for other reasons as well. Won't be going back to Chipotle for awhile.
As for Jamaica, as much as I would like for it to bring in more commercial variety, I don't see it happening any time soon considering the kind of character that are still present around there. And quite frankly, I want to be gone from that quadrant of the borough within 2-3 years. The commute from Manhattan and bus madness in Jamaica just isn't worth the headache.
The fallout here is that folks who live in immediate areas near Manhattan can no longer afford the rent, also these are longtime working or local residents who don't mind moving further out or away. Also Pelham Parkway is a solid Middle Class neighborhood. A person who is Middle Class conscious, Pelham Parkway is a no brainer.
Do you think that a purchase on Pelham Parkway will have a return on investment in the next 5 years?
You make every neighborhood you move to unaffordable. What happened to the times when a little bit of everyone could live in the good neighborhoods, instead of now being only about well off people turning lower income areas into upper class areas? I'm really getting tired of this.
You can never doubt the forecast of these predatory people. Things change drastically in two years around them.

If everyone could afford to live in the most desirable NYC neighborhoods, then who would live in the less desirable ones?
