crazy how they haven't found the killer. Im starting to think its not a homeless person, they can't get too far on foot in a few hours.

Who says he's not hiding out in plain sight?

Sounds like a homeless person, too much carelessness leaving evidence around for someone who knew her and calculated doing this.

I agree, not random, the boyfriend better has a solid alibi.
But why would anybody leave the condom at the crime scene?

Maybe the one who had sex with her in the weeds was not the killer, and they were surprised by the killer!

with the connections the father of the victim had to get police support in a few hours after she didn't respond to text. I find it hard to believe the NYPD hasn't grabbed up every homeless male in the vicinity, not like they care about the rights of homeless people.

the boyfriend was already ruled out. She bit her attacker very hard; any homeless in the area who did it and dumb enough to stay, would have been found by looking at his body and finding her "teeth marks". This is what I say:

either she/her family involved in shady business and this was "payback" .
it's the Gilgo Beach serial killer who hasn't been caught.
It couldn't have been a local "resident" homeless like the "weed or bridge people" who live there.Maybe it was a transient homeless who was just passing by. Of course he's either got a criminal rap sheet already or is a serious "mental patient" who's loose.

That's my take.

Homeless people stick out like sore thumbs, usually when homeless are involved in an attack they are found pretty quickly. It's not like they have resources to run and hide.

But I doubt that a "mental patient" or a "transient homeless person" would bother to put on a condom.

and also as a jogger you rarely stop on the trail. this was someone waiting for her specifically or any potential victim in the grass or someone who followed her. So far its not adding up on the homeless angle plus the condom. Could be a serial rapist.

if he was in wait for a victim he's done it before, at least tried to before. if he was transient homeless maybe he's wanted in another state. to us he's "homeless" but there's a warrant out for him in another state. Prisoners escape once in a while and come here...or mental people. Some of these mentals are violent. they can only keep them locked up in mental hospitals for a certain period of time, then they have to release them. they don't have the room to keep there forever event though they should some of them.
