Undocumented persons cannot received *FEDERAL* housing assistance, but that does not preclude state or local governments (nor does it for NYS/NYC) from offering same.
In case you've missed it; by constitution and case law New York State *MUST* provide care for the poor and that has been extended by courts to mean housing is a *RIGHT*. You can come here from Paris, France of Paris, Texas and at once apply for housing assistance.
The best thing to do is hold your ground on your speech that is sensitive. Do not apologize. IF you apologize you only make the situation worse for yourself. The liberal left likes to shame people into oblivion. The shame you to a point where it will be difficult for one to access a job and maybe homeless for life.

Eh, I don't think this guy is particularly rational. The other video had him acting pretty crazy apparently, and according to that video, verging on assaulting people. The guy really strikes me as needing therapy or going easy on the nose candy.

NYCHA is federal housing, and does not take illegals, obviously, so you're wrong.
There is no such thing as state or local public housing. That doesn't even exist.

That has nothing to do with what we're talking about. You were ranting about illegals, and how they receive assistance, which is a lie. They are not eligible for housing assistance or welfare.
You seem to be referring to the 1970's homeless shelter court case, which requires the city to provide temporary shelter to anyone who has proven housing need. Has zero to do with anything. Of course the city is not asking a freezing corpse on the street for immigration papers, or anything, really, outside of emergency housing need.
