Sounds like unity of oppressors to me. I can't fathom the hubris people have to do dictate to other's what activities they should or should not engage in and then use Government force to have their way. Smoking violates no one elses rights, and thus, should not be at all a concern of Government. Government loves people like you who keeps shoveling them more money and power.
I would just like to reiterate that this thread is about people in Hawaii that smoke and are looking for a solution to the unfair taxation targeted towards a minority group. Uhm, the republican types that seem to like to take people's rights away are trolling this thread and hopefully their accounts will be deleted by moderators soon. Smoking violates no one elses rights, and thus, should not be at all a concern of Government.
IF every smoker does it only in their own closed private place, with no one else around who is under age. Also, they all agree that when their health fails, they will not except ANY help from the government. Then maybe you would have a point.
