I'm so old I remember... As a child standing on the beach looking at the sailing ship.. and the small boat bringing people to the beach.. A gentleman got out of the little row boat.. and told me I am Juan Ponce deLeo`n I come from far away.. I gave him a gourd full of water... and you know the rest of the story..

That's nothing I remember teaching him how to swim before he became an explorer.

Saw my first Cubs game in June of 1946......a Grade School graduation present from my aunt Helen who lived three blocks away from Wrigley Field.

Yes you may. i don't know how I overlooked them.

I also should have put in Jackie Robinsom and Roy Campenello.

Although Ted Williams was my Favorite just noticed I left him off., I was a Red Sox Fan back in the days I watched Baseball. Along about 1960 I pretty much lost all interest in watching it.
