As a kid living in northern Illinois in the 1930's I'm "so-old" I remember listening to "FIBBER McGEE and MOLLY" on the radio (an old Stand-Up-PHILCO) with the green "cats-eye" tuning device.
The address for their house was: 79 Wistful Vista Ave and he would close out his weekly show with the phrase: "Good Night Molly". One of the main characters in the show was:.."Throckmorton P. Gildersleeve".
