QUOTE=Seagrape Grove;50442448]Don't know if there are any rubber Obama masks around but can well imagine the cries of "Racist!!" to anyone who dared to wear one. The MO professional rodeo clown, Tuffy Gessling, was given a lifetime ban in MO for wearing one as part of his act several years ago. To perform as a rodeo clown today he must go out-of-state.[/quote]
Anyone remember the scents Taboo, Heaven Sent, Chantilly? I saw a tiny bottle of Taboo recently and bought it, as I loved it years ago as a teen. Smell brings back those days.
Whenever I smell Caress soap, I remember my boyfriend at the time, when the soap first came out...smells and music take you right back...

" The LOOK " every adult had the " LOOK" especially teachers.. and older people. Do something wrong as a child.. Level 1 of the look.. a total of 5 levels.. as a child your blood would run cold.. when " The LOOK " was used.. and being a child you pushed your luck.. level 3 beads of sweet would start forming from the person giving you the " LOOK " if you went for broke especially when your really young.. " Dad" would unbuckle the " BELT " between the " LOOK" and " Unbuckling" the belt.. you were so far up the creek..
I remember "the look". It was usually my mother. She only called dad in when all hope was gone.
I remember the gift wrapping departments in stores. Most large department stores had them and often hired high school girls for extra help during the Christmas season. My older sister worked in one for extra money during the Christmas seasons back in the 1940s.
