knowing that, it's kind of interesting to multiply all those old prices from the 50s by 10 and see how they compare to today's prices. some things, like eggs, are actually cheaper now.
I remember getting an ice cream cone for 10 cents a scoop at the soda fountain in the drug store.
Me too. Where I lived it was 10 cents for a regular cone and 12 cents for a sugar cone.
