So for everyone who wants to know what fashion week was like. This video pretty much sums up 50% of people I came in contact with. The other 50% where irate people yelling at me for reasons unknown. I actually prefer the second type of person as it's easy for me to laugh off a yeller.

Ohio - that vid is hysterical. Your business is even more f'd up than mine.

BUT - I LOVE those clothes! I'm gonna be one of those skanky moms dressing totally inappropriately. That sparkly halter dress was fantastic. Where do I get me some of that?

Need help from the rock n roll music lovers here! I'm looking for awesome rock songs about grief.

I'm writing about grief and want to use music lyrics. So far, I'm using the following

Paint It Black
I see people turn their heads and quickly look away
Like a newborn baby it just happens ev'ryday

Tears In Heaven.
Time can bring you down, time can bend your knees
Time can break your heart, have you begging please...begging please

I might use something from Queen's The Show Must Go On, maybe not.

I'm not interested in songs contemplating one's own death, like The Reaper, Spirit in the Sky, or Knocking on Heaven's door. Great songs, but they're not about grieving.

And I don't like Elton John's Candle in the Wind because, as much as I like Elton, I think his tribute to Diana is cheesy.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I guess I concentrate on "cheerful" because I'm coming up blank. All I can think of are popular songs played at funerals I've been to. And they're not really about grief.

And I liked Elton's tribute. I cried the rain down after he finished.

Greenday's "Good Riddance" always makes me weepy. I remember way back when the TV show ER was popular...a character who was a child passed away and his nurse sung it at his memorial service.

When Tears in Heaven was first released, my kids were very young. I couldn't even listen to the song. I literally changed the radio station when it came on.

Dark beat me to it, great song. Tears in Heaven also a good one. Angel and I Will Remember You by Sara McLachlan. Oh Very Young by Cat Stevens. The Rose by Bette Midler.

Oh poo. Now I'm all sad. This topic got me thinking about U2's Stuck In A Moment, which Bono wrote about a good friend of mine who committed suicide, and it also reminds me of a friend of mine who recently committed suicide by drinking himself to death. Curiously, it's also a kind of uplifting song when you're grieving about people who died by their own doing. Don't know if it'll help your paper, Hopes, but it's a great song.

What can explain unexplainable weight loss?
I just weighed and was 136.
I weight 4 days ago and was 139.
And just two weeks ago I was 146 or more.

So within 3 weeks I have dropped 10 pounds or more.
This is actually worse than the time I had swine flu because I only dropped 8-10 pounds steadily over a month and now it like 10 or more in the course of 3 weeks.
