May I say with my most intellectual tone. BARF! And I thought we had, as a society, evolved somewhat. Silly me. What a stupid excuse for immature behavior.

I think any parent that teaches their boys not to "hit girls" instead of just telling them that physical violence is unacceptable unless in self defense is an absolutely despicable parent...

Why bring gender into this? All children should simply be taught that "Don't hit, except in self defense". Instead many parents tell their boys not to hit girls and never say anything to their daughters (Sometimes some people even encourage girls to hit boys even if the boy didn't even hit them and just said a mean thing to them). Ridiculous.

I think this mentality really causes a lot of problems. Boys will grow up thinking that females are allowed to bully or cause physical violence to them and they have to just "take it". Girls will grow up with a mentality thinking they are allowed to physically hurt boys with impunity

I second that.

You know, me and sexism do not sit well. At all. Don't go around bullying and hitting on boys expecting them not to hit you back because your a girl. Act like a boy, get treated like one.

Do I adovacate disrespecting and beating up girls? No. But if they are going to continue to punch and kick and scream and shout, a slap to the face is reasonable.
