Second, it only runs along surface streets, so it's not really possible for it to affect freeway wrong way drivers.
Sorry, I don't have a perfect recollection of it. I just remember being like what the ??? not expecting it to be there at all. Had driven those streets only years before the LR construction.

Saw a friend post that they were driving down the 101 today and there was an alert stating "wrong way driver" ahead... they got off but shortly thereafter saw a major collision and not only was there ONE but TWO wrong way drivers. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!!

So per ADOT 60% of these idiots are alcohol impaired... Okay so I hope all those who served these folks and allowed them to drive are getting in trouble. Beyond that is age a factor here? I mean we all know how lax Arizona is on retesting with age. Your brain begins to slow down whilst becoming better at other things but for driving purposes age is a very pertinent factor here.

I also wonder how many are suicidal? Because this is happening too much.

God, yeah that is weird. I don't watch the news every single night but I am pretty sure this is not normal for everywhere!

The 60% that are drunk is terrible but at least it makes sense how they end up going the wrong way. What is happening with the other 40%?

They seem to happen much more frequently on the east side of town compared to the West Valley freeways. Just more traffic and more confusing on/off ramps on that side of town I guess?

ADOT ought to invest in those wrong-way spokes you see in parking garages.
