I too had a dental appointment scheduled (July 6) which I changed this morning to Oct. 5th.

Same here. My dentist is currently taking appointments for emergency procedures only right now, so I had to reschedule. No big deal as far as this goes ... however, my concern is that more critical medical issues are being overlooked & postponed due to COVID 19. Routine procedures that are also highly important (mammograms, skin cancer removals, etc.) are delayed, and this isn't good because early detection is the key to anything. Keep postponing these "routine" screenings, and we're going to see a larger health crisis in the not too distant future.

I told my dentist "I'll call you when there's a vaccine".

Well I've had no cavities or issues in years, use a recommended electric toothbrush and brush/floss twice a day. Call me crazy but I think I'll be fine not going for a year.

I have two friends who say they will refuse the vaccine. I wonder if employers require it one I know has 17 years in going to retire at 20 years be 55. I asked him today would he leave early if they require it he said he would then he wont get his retirement until 65 and it will be less. I told him he would change his mind all he looks forward to retiring at 55.

They need to weigh the possible severe organ damage from Covid vs some minimal side effects of a vaccine.

The vaccine being tested now should be far more less damaging than Covid, statistically speaking, once it's gone through thousands of human trials.

I saw one poll yesterday that indicated about half the population would choose to not get the vaccine.

I would bet lot more people if inconvenienced enough will get the vaccine I could see stores requiring anyone to present proof of vaccine bar code on their smart phone if they wish to enter without a mask on.

I ran a poll on the subject over on the politics sub-forum 2/3 of CD members polled over 1/3 said they would get the vaccine.

At the moment, I'm one of those people who don't plan on getting the vaccine. Reason being that I don't know whether or not my insurance will cover it, or how much it would cost.
