I am not so sure about things getting worse. I don't know how he will stand with police or not? We knew Moreno would be in favor of more proactive policing and saving countless lives, but Gainey might not like super high crime. I don't think he will be a friend of police that much however, but time will tell. We aren't Rochester NY yet.

Pretty safe area. Sad when skyrocketing crime spreads.

Wow, that is wildly rare in that area. I can see the shootings in New Ken that happen all the time, but that isn't the norm at all. Must be some crazy person. Didn't even know the guy he shot. Hope he never sees the light of day.

At least someone that’s downplayed the skyrocketing crime has acknowledged it. Hopefully it doesn’t spread like it’s spread to the Sahside.

Yeah, when I saw that, I figured it was a spillover from New Ken, but it isn't. Very rare and odd case that you can go a lifetime not see happen. Wonder if we will ever get any followup on it as it is so strange.

Hopefully Indy can keep us apprised if the media doesn’t. He’s been insistent that crime is being exaggerated so it’s nice to see him acknowledge this.

Wow, I was just reading about the victim a bit. He just lost a sister in 2018 at the age of 27. Damn this family is going though a tough time. What a selfish act it is to just shoot someone. Makes me sick how selfish people can be.

Unfortunately we vastly underfund our mental health care system in this country, and this is the end result.
